Family tour of the historic halls
Why did monks used to sleep in the library? How old is the library’s oldest book, and since when have children been allowed to use the library? You’ll find the answers to these questions on a family tour through the historic halls of the City Library. Together, you can embark on an exciting journey back in time through the library’s 400-year history, discovering not only historic walls and old books but also a mysterious footprint.
Children may only participate when accompanied by an adult. This event is suitable for families with children aged approximately 6–14. Space is limited; advance registration is required. Duration: approximately 1 hour.
