Beach Exploration Tour along the Brodtener Ufer
We’d like to take a walk on the beach with you and visit the “working cliff” at Brodtener Ufer. On this tour with Silke Wiegand, we’ll explore the beach and shallow waters together to discover animals, plants, rocks, and fossils. Of course, we’ll take a close look at our finds.
By the way: The Museum of Nature and Environment’s exhibition features many fossilized animals from prehistoric times and fascinating rocks. Most of them are the remains of marine animals and rocks—some from Scandinavia—that were transported here by Ice Age glaciers. They come from the beach and gravel pits. A family visit to the museum on your own on another day is well worth it...
For children ages 6 and up, with parental participation!
