Sewn animal shapes as pillows
A sewing machine class for beginners.
For children and young people ages 8 and up.
Whether it’s an elephant, an alpaca, a dachshund, an owl, or a turtle: in this class, you’ll create colorful, patterned animals out of cotton fabric. Simple patterns and shapes are transformed into fun little creatures for cuddling and playing through the use of different fabrics, cords, and the design of eyes and snouts.
Materials:
Please bring some nice cotton fabric that you like.
- 2–3 pieces of fabric, each measuring 30–50 cm, are more than enough to sew something.
- Color-coordinated sewing thread
- Fabric scraps (if available)
The patterns for the animals, as well as other materials, will be provided and are included in the course fee.
Please also bring:
Fabric/tailor’s scissors (if available), pins and sewing needles, a set square, a ruler, a pencil, an eraser, drinks, and a snack for breaks.
