Cozy & Cuddly Pillows - Sewing for Kids
A sewing machine class for beginners.
For children and young people ages 8 and up.
Pillowcases are especially easy to sew and offer plenty of room for creativity, making them a great way to gain your first experience sewing on a sewing machine. Whether square, round, rectangular, large, or small—colorfully patterned or featuring your own designs—the possibilities are endless, and by the end of the two-day course, you’ll go home with your favorite pillow.
Materials:
Please bring some nice cotton fabric that you really like.
- 2–3 pieces of fabric, each measuring 30–50 cm, are more than enough to make something.
- Color-coordinated sewing thread
- Fabric scraps (if available)
The patterns for the sewing projects, as well as other materials, will be provided and are included in the course fee.
Please also bring: fabric/tailor’s scissors (if available), pins and sewing needles, a set square, a ruler, a pencil, an eraser, drinks, and a snack for the breaks.

You’re welcome to bring drinks and a snack for a quick break during the session. Please bring 2–3 pieces of fabric, each 30–50 cm long, along with matching sewing thread, your own fabric scissors, and sewing supplies (pins, a ruler, and any fabric scraps you may have).
