From the Hanseatic League to the Present Day IV
Alternative dates:
What existed back in the Middle Ages, and what’s different today? In this interactive tour, children will delve into the history of daily life and trade during the Hanseatic era and learn to connect the past with the present. In the workshop that follows, they’ll turn old materials into something new: Using beeswax and fabric scraps—both of which were important commodities during the Hanseatic era—we’ll make beeswax wraps that can be used today as a plastic-free alternative to plastic wrap.
Please bring fabric scraps (cotton or linen)!
